Since last year when the National Council recommended that every conference use Module six (Serving in Hope) during the year, and Module four this year, my conference has been using a Module section on the first meeting of the month, and the Vincentian Reflection and a Rule section on the second meeting of the month. My conference president recently became a formator, and is concerned that during the week that we use the Module we are not reading from the Rule. My understanding is that since the Module sections all use the Rule as a base, and quote at least one, and frequently more than one section of the Rule in each discussion. Therefore we are reading from the Rule on these weeks.
Any thoughts?
